Ferrara: «We only did a little of what we prepared»

It is a sad Ciro Ferrara who spoke to the journalists after the match: «It is a bad blow, the result is clear and strong. We only did a little of what we prepared». Juventus scored the opener thanks to Trezeguet but Bayern came back: «We knew – continued Ferrara – that we had two results possible. It seems like we’re a team which does not know how to manage such situations. We were not tranquil».

With the Champions League a part of the past, now the only thing to do is look ahead: «I am sorry for the supporters, for the club and for all. We must not look for excuses or alibis with regards to this match, but we must make an examination of our conscience and take responsibility. I am and we are used to working hard and we will do so to come out of this».
