Champions League calendar released

The 2008/09 Champions League calendar is now official. At the end of August, after the preliminary rounds, the names of the other Clubs qualified will be added to the main schedule.

In 2008, the group stages will take place. In the New Year, the three knock-out stages begin (second round, quarter finals and semi-finals) which will take two teams to the big final in Rome on May 27, precisely in the same ground where Juventus won their last Champions League back in 1996.
