Camoranesi at Juventus until 2011

This afternoon, after today's training session, Mauro Camoranesi met with Chairman Giovanni Cobolli Gigli, Managing Director Jean-Claude Blanc and Director of Sport Alessio Secco to sign an extension to his contract up to June 30th 2011.

«Today – Jean-Claude Blanc and Alessio Secco explained – we wanted to enhance the relationship with a player who is vital for Juventus. Mauro keeps showing how good he is in Italy and in Europe and we're proud that he can wear the Black and White jersey for one more season»

As he came out of Juve's Headquarters, Mauro Camoranesi claimed he was happy about how the meeting went: «Today – he declared – is an important day for me, under a personal and a professional point of view. I arrived in Turin in summer 2002 and I am honoured to have the chance to wear these colours for nine seasons. It isn't easy to play at the highest level for such a long spell and I am sure that we'll win more prestigious trophies very soon».
