Penalties prove fatal at Manchester United Premier Cup

Juventus' run at the Manchester United Premier Cup ended in the quarter finals. After brilliantly going through the group stage, the young Bianconeri (the same side that took part in the Under-15s League last year) were defeated 5-3 on penalties by Swiss team Basel FC.

It was a very unlucky end to a match that the boys trained by Maggiora played really well. They went one up with Tazzari, and it was only deep in injury time that the Swiss team equalized from a free kick. So they went from a possible place in the semi-finals to the penalty shootout that would unfortunately prove fatal.

Therefore Juventus undeservedly saw their hopes of getting to tomorrow's final at Old Trafford dashed.
