Cobolli Gigli: «Now is the time to remain close-knit»

There's no point hiding the truth: this is not a great period, results-wise. The home defeat at the hands of Palermo comes after disappointing draws with Catania, Sampdoria and Bate Borisov.

Under this point of view, the break for the international qualifiers arrives at just the right time.

It's not an easy time for the Club, and it's necessary to try and come out of it as soon as possible. After the break, the calendar offers three tough games against Napoli, Real Madrid and Torino. So it is vital to restart at full speed. Speaking to Juventus Channel, Chairman Giovanni Cobolli Gigli tried to reassure everybody: «This is the time to remain close-knit and not be overly dramatic about the situation. We've only lost a match and we'll have the chance to redeem ourselves soon. The team gave it their best shot today, they were able to come back from the first goal and they tried winning even when down to ten men. It's a shame about that goal we let in near the end. Now there’s this break, so we’ll have the chance to recover some of our injured players».
