Turin derby ends 0-0

This time the game between the Bianconeri and the Granata didn't produce any goals. Sereni made a couple of vital saves, Rosina hit the crossbar. Sunday Juve face Fiorentina without Nedved and Chiellini.

There was no final strike to decide the match this time. The Turin derby ended 0-0, but there were still thrills. Sereni made two decisive saves on Iaquinta (a header in the first half) and Del Piero (a great free kick in the second half). Rosina hit the bar from a free kick too.

The teams were determined and a little too aggressive, as in any derby game worthy of its name. And Juventus paid heavily for this. Chiellini got another yellow card, while Nedved was sent off at the end. Both will miss Sunday's game against Fiorentina, just like Zanetti, who will continue his two-match suspension.

At any rate, Ranieri's team got a point and increased their tally, waiting to see the results of the games scheduled for Wednesday night.
