2008/09 Serie A line-up now official

Finally we know all the names of the teams taking part in the 2008/09 edition of Serie A. The Serie B play-offs have ended, and it's Lecce who achieved promotion, alongside Chievo Verona and Bologna. Lecce beat Albino Leffe in the final over two games.

Empoli, Parma and Livorno having been relegated, this is how the top Italian League will look next season:
