Authoritative win at the Ferraris

After a week when a lot of things were said about Juventus, the team responded their way: with facts. They dominated the game at the Ferraris, more than the final 2-0 result shows.

Zdenek Grygera was the man of the match and it was mostly thanks to him that Genoa were defeated. The Czech player, employed at left-back, played his best game of the year: first scoring the fine goal that opened the score. A few minutes later, he fed Trezeguet perfectly for the second goal. In the second half Buffon stopped Borriello in what was the only real chance for Genoa. The Bianconeri controlled the match and had more than one chance to score a third before the end.

These were three precious points, especially considering Fiorentina lost today. Now Juve have four points over the Viola and five over AC Milan. Another night game awaits them next Sunday. They will face Napoli at the Olimpico and Ranieri will have to do without a few important players. Camoranesi, Legrottaglie and Zebina will all be suspended, while Zanetti left the field before the end due to a muscle problem. But if they keep the determination shown at the Ferraris, it'll be a Juve side ready for battle again, regardless of the line-up.
