Jorge Andrade was born on April 9, 1978, in Lisbon.
He married Sara in 2000 and they have two beautiful twins: Tiago and Lucas.
In his free time, Jorge likes to keep busy with several activities. The most important thing for him is certainly his family. He also listens to a lot of music, watches films, plays the guitar, reads papers and surfs on the internet.

He also has a passion for videogames, but since the children have arrived, the time for that has progressively decreased.

His musical tastes vary from African music to hip hop, R’N’B and pop. His favourite song is Vivir Sin Aire by Manà, while his favourite singers are Juanes and Joss Stone. Lately television is mainly left to Tiago and Lucas, but when Jorge can, he likes to watch a good quality movie. His favourite actor is Denzel Washington, while Sandra Bullock is his female icon. His favourite film? Saw 1 and 2.

Jorge is quickly adapting to Italian cuisine. However, even if he's beginning to love local food, he's still very much into his country's cuisine. His favourite dish is Cachupa y Bacalao, a typical Portuguese dish made with cod.
His favourite drink is Zumos, a kind of fruit-based milkshake.

Jorge is very careful about the way he presents himself, but he's not obsessed with it. He almost always dresses casual, as it's more comfortable and informal. A true passion of his is shirts; of all kinds, in all colours and fabrics – they’re a real obsession.

He made his debut at 8 with his brother, in Estrella da Amadora's youth teams, where his father had also played (the team was in the third division at the time). Then in 2000 he joined FC Porto and after two years he moved to Deportivo La Coruna.
In his career he's won a Portuguese Cup and a Spanish Super Cup, but he's still very hungry for victory.

His dream is to win trophies again with Juventus.
