Vincenzo Iaquinta was born on the 21st of November 1979 in Crotone. His dad Giuseppe is a businessman and his mum Vittoria a housewife. He has a sister called Adele.
He's married with Arianna, whom he met in a motorway restaurant, and the couple have two beautiful boys: Edoardo and Giuseppe.

When he's not playing football, Vincenzo is just like any other normal guy: he likes to spend a lot of time with his family, usually playing with his two sons. He listens to a lot of music – Adriano Celentano and Renato Zero are definitely his best-loved singers – and is always watching movies. He prefers action movies as they're more exciting to him. It's not a coincidence that his favourite actor is Sylvester Stallone, the star of Rocky.

His favourite dish is lasagne, washed down with some good red wine, perhaps a Brunello di Montalcino or a high-quality Cabernet.

Vincenzo is scrupulous about the way he looks. Like many young men his own age, he prefers sporty clothes, as he considers them more comfortable and functional. Only when it's strictly necessary does he opt for classically-cut, elegant suits.
He doesn't use many accessories, but he's crazy about watches.

Apart from football, he's tried playing golf a few times, a sport that interests him a lot, but that he found to be a little difficult and complicated. He always watches the tennis on television, and particularly any match featuring Roger Federer, whom he considers the best all-round athlete outside of football.

He started playing football at 6 years of age for Reggiolo and has always played as a striker, just like his all-time idol Marco Van Basten.

When asked what has been the best moment of his career for him so far, he doesn't even need to think about it and the reply comes swift: winning the World Cup.

He hopes to win a lot at Juve, all he can, maybe winning the 'double', Scudetto and Champions League, too.
He hopes for a happy, peaceful future, with a lot of luck and that his two sons may become professional footballers one day, just like daddy.
