Born in Formia (Latina) on December 28th 1969, his sporting career is linked to soccer and swimming. In the soccer discipline, in particular five-a-side soccer, he grew up playing in minor leagues with Padova, Vasto and Verona. From 1998 he took care of the training of the international swimmers Emanuele Brembilla, Domenico Fioravanti, Davide Rummolo and Massimiliano Rosolino. In 2001 he followed five-a-side Venezia Calcio and the Formula Uno driver Emanuele Naspetti. In Serie A professional soccer his name is linked to Chievo Verona, which he joined at the beginning of the Del Neri era and stayed with until 2007/08 when he moved to Atalanta, together with the coach from Friuli, which he also followed to Sampdoria and now to Juventus.
