Alessandro Del Piero is happy with the victory but he is also well conscious of the fact that not all problems have been resolved yet and there is still quite a way to go before the team can say it has healed completely.

«We knew we would have to suffer – said the captain at the end of the match-. We did so today too. It is obvious that we hope to play at maximum levels, to win without suffering but this is not possible. The Italian championship is very difficult and we are during a recovery period and therefore it is fine like this».

Juventus have shown clear signs of improvement but how far into recovery is the team?: «Every victory, every match which we manage to win with this sort of determination is a step towards complete recovery but we cannot think that the time will come when we have healed completely. This is the real situation and we must not hide from it. We are in a moment of difficulty but we are emerging. The final line will be at the end of the season and it is then that we will study the results and draw a balance including what we are doing now».
