As always Giorgio Chiellini is very frank and straight to the point in his comments after the match against Palermo.

«Unfortunately we paid a high price for the fatigue felt due to the lack of changes available recently. On the first goal, which was incredible, we were a bit taken aback while on the second goal we were down with the morale and even tired».

The first half saw Juventus win 55% of ball possession: «In the first half we played well and with a bit of luck we could have drawn at least, but in the second half first the goal by Miccoli and then exhaustion had their toll. The mistake by Grygera happens once in 80 years and it is a pity that is happened today because Grygera played a good match».

Asked howcome he played most of the matches and did not seem to be the most exhausted player, Chiellini answered: « Even though I played very often, in the last two matches I did not spend too much energy because we controlled the matches very well. I think that fatigue is the main factor behind today’s defeat. Notwithstanding this, we did make a step backwards and I think it could be seen. We knew that Palermo could hurt us on the counter-attack and then the first goal broke the match. It made it harder to fight back».
