It is nearly time to depart for London. On the eve of the Europa League match against Fulham which can lead to the quarter-finals, Vincenzo Iaquinta is ready: «I don’t know if I’ll be playing. The coach hasn’t told me anything yet. It is obvious that after so many months during which I was out I miss the field, but playing for parts of a match help me find my condition».

The 3-1 in the first leg is a good advantage for the bianconeri, but Iaquinta warned: «We must play with attention and concentration. It will not be easy. They will put many balls in the area. The result against Siena on Sunday should serve us as a lesson. We must not relax and even more we must not play for a draw».

When asked if with his return he can hope to regain his condition in time for the World cup call-ups, Iaquinta answered: «In these last months, I spoke to Lippi and kept him informed about my condition. Now all I have to do is work and regain my form in order to deserve the call-up».
