Hodgson: «We must pay great attention in this game»

March 17, 2010

«I was hoping to reach this match with more players available. It will be difficult but I can count on another 18 players and I know they can do well». Roy Hodgson must deal with vasious absentees but is still hopeful in view of the match against Juventus: «We will try to win but we will have to be careful. We are starting off from the 3-1 in Turin and we will surely have to risk a bit but on the other hand conceding a goal would make everyting more difficult». Just like Bobby Zamora even the coach is asked his opinion about Chimenti defending the Juventus goal: «He is an experienced goalkeeper who has many years in the Serie A behind him and who was for a long time Buffon’s substitute. Besides in front of him are world champions and therefore he won’t have problems».

Finally a thought about the Juventus and the goals conceded against Siena: «I do not like to comment every single player. In the defence there are world champions, Felipe Melo is a Brazil international, Marchisio and Sissoko are excellent players and I know Poulsen well because I coached him. There is great quality in Juventus and I don’t think they will defend».
