He is a protagonist on the field but even more a protagonist in the library. After the great success of his book “Ho fatto una promessa” (I made a promise), Nicola Legrottaglie is ready for the encore. In the last few days he published “Cento volte tanto. Con la fede vivo meglio.” (Hundred times as much. I live better through faith), the second book written by the Juventus defender and launched this morning at the Juventus Center, together with two distinguisghed guests namely doctor Riccardo Agricola and journalist Darwin Pastorin.

After having sold 100,000 copies of his first book, Legrottaglie had a second go in a volume which – as he himself declared- more of the real Nicola as man rather than Nicola the footballer emerges.   «It isn the sequel of “Ho fatto una promessa”. I have gone through different episodes of my life and many themes, always through the faith in God and his words ».

It was also an occasion to speak of Juventus. With the team ready to leave for London without Legrottaglie, who will be absent due to suspension after the yellow card shown in the first leg: «I am fine. I read in a newspaper that I am injured, but on Sunday I left the field early out of precaution, due to simple muscle strain. Against Fulham, I put my trust in my team mates who will play a great match. We want to make it through to the next round because the Europa League is fundamental for us. I am sure we will give great satisfaction to Italian football».

Moreover the team must forget the draw against Siena, but even with regards to the championship Legrottaglie is faithful of the end of the season: «The day after the matches we analyze everything and therefore we know when we did not do well without anybody having to tell us. The draw on Sunday penalized us. If we had gone six points from Roma we would have caught up with them. We will try again and we have all the chances of catching up with the giallorossi. Besides, seeing that we still have to play both against Inter and Milan, we will be the judges of the scudetto».
