The coach who will substitute Luciano Bruni has been decided. He has a long past as a footballer, the best part of which with the miraculous Foggia. He joins Juve after having coached Manfredonia in the Second Division.
As from today, the Juventus Primavera has a new coach. The parenthesis with Luciano Bruni having come to an end, the main bench of the youth sector will be occupied by Giovanni Bucaro.
Born in Palermo on the 20th November 1970, Bucaro can boast of a vast experience in the football world, first as a player and then as coach.
As a player he linked his name to Foggia, where he played for 6 seasons (between 1988 and 1996 apart from a span with Fiorentina, Modena and Bologna), in the best times of the club from Puglia which deserved the nickname Miraculous Foggia. In his career he even played for Sorrento, Spal, Ascoli and Avellino, the club with which he retired in 2003.
With his experience as an athlete having come to an end, he immediately began that as a coach. First as technical collaborator with Ascoli and Salerno and later as coach with Campobello di Mazara and for two seasons with Pomigliano in the Serie D. Last season, he became a professional taking up the role at Manfredonia in the second division.
