Giovanissimi stay top with 1-1 draw at home to Pavia

It finishes all square in Vinovo, meaning the Juve youngsters’ dream of finishing the season unbeaten is now ever closer to becoming reality

In an absorbing battle this afternoon in Vinovo, the Giovanissimi came back from behind against a strong Pavia side to draw 1-1.

The impressive visitors deservedly took the lead on the Ale&Ricky pitch, but the Bianconeri put up a good fight after the break that culminated in a Bioty Kean equaliser.

It was a crucial strike because it has kept alive the side’s dream of winning the league championship unbeaten. With a distance of eight points over chasers Sampdoria, Juve now need to hold on for just the remaining six games if they’re to pull off the spectacular feat.
