Juventus have won 11 times in their previous 32 meetings with Cagliari on Sardinian soil
The Bianconeri’s last Serie A meeting with Cagliari provided an indelible memory for every Juventus fan to cherish. On 6 May 2012, in Trieste, Antoinio Conte’s men triumphed 2-0 to secure the club’s 30th Scudetto title.
Historically speaking, however, the Bianconeri have traditionally found points harder to come by in Sardinia. From the 32 previous championship encounters, Juventus have won 11, drawn 12 and lost nine.
The most common Juve success is by a single goal without reply, witnessed on seven seperate occasions. This streak began with a narrow victory established courtesy of Anastasi’s strike in 1969.
As far as score draws are concerned, both sides have cancelled each other out (1-1) on seven occasions.
Finally, the most common Cagliari triumph is by a 2-1 scoreline. This has occurred four times between 1966 and 1980.
