Carlos Tevez returns to Juve training after a two-day absence, taking part in the group's fitness-orientated session in Vinovo this afternoon
The Juventus squad is still without twelve of its international players, but with the return of Carlos Tevez from a two day absence in time for this afternoon’s training and manager Antonio Conte having rejoined his men from Nyon’s Elite Coaching Forum yesterday, the group is now beginning to resemble its normal self.
The Argentine’s first session since his break was fitness-based, a workout that Andrea Barzagli however was unable to take part in as he continues physiotherapy treatment for the tendon aggravation in his right foot picked up against Lazio.
Claudio Marchisio and Simone Pepe were also absent as they proceed with their own recovery programmes.
The 30-year-old winger was forced to depart yesterday’s friendly match against Santhià with a left-thigh complaint. The MRI scan he underwent earlier today showed no sign of serious injury, but he will nonetheless take a couple of days to rest in order to avoid any further aggravation.
Tomorrow, the squad will take to the field again at Vinovo for a morning training session.
