Bianconeri regroup on the training ground

Angelo Alessio to lead morning and afternoon sessions at Juventus Center as a reduced first-team squad returns to work following three days’ rest

The Bianconeri kicked off their preparations for next weekend’s resumption of Serie A action with a morning workout at the club’s Juventus Center training base in Vinovo.

The absence of the 12 players on duty with their respective nations, Carlos Tevez, granted two days’ leave by the club for personal reasons, and Antonio Conte, in Nyon for the annual Elite Coaches Forum, failed to dampen the enthusiasm as the remainder of the first-team squad was put through an athletic-based session in glorious early September sunshine.

Guiding the players through this morning’s activity was Conte’s trusted right-hand man Angelo Alessio, who will again take charge of proceedings when the Bianconeri return to the training ground this afternoon for their second session of the day.
