During the first half of Sunday's match against Atalanta, Randal Kolo Muani sustained an injury to the fifth finger of his right hand. Tests carried out after the match revealed a fracture of the proximal phalanx, making osteosynthesis surgery necessary.

The operation, performed this afternoon by Dr Loris Pegoli at J|medical, was completely successful and the player will remain available for selection.
