For Cecilia Salvai, Juventus is home. Having joined way back in 2017, she has once again extended her strong and historic bond with the club, penning a new contract to tie her to the Juventus Women's First Team until 2027.

From the heart, Ceci wanted to share her emotions with a letter describing her passion, admiration and respect for the club.

Below are her words:

CECILIA SALVAI'S LETTER TO JUVENTUS

I have learned that the JUVENTUS jersey should not simply be worn, but lived, earned, desired, honoured.

Those who wear it have the DUTY to dare, believe, aspire and always dream big, without ever being satisfied.

It is not enough to wear these colours to be a winner: it is what you do FOR these colours that makes you win. Day after day, training after training, match after match.

I learned that at JUVENTUS it is important to know and understand that the phrase; ‘winning is not important, it's the only thing that matters’, is not a nursery rhyme, but a way of life.

I learned that at JUVENTUS it is important to understand the weight of a chance missed as well as a goal conceded. Just as it is fundamental to know the difference between victory and defeat.

I learnt that at JUVENTUS it is important to embrace the importance of detail, on and off the pitch, because nothing can be taken for granted. At JUVENTUS it's important to have respect, for everything we are given and for all the people who work with us and for us.

It's not enough to wear the JUVENTUS jersey, you have to LIVE it. With the HEART and SOUL that so many of us have always put into these colours.
