Today marks a milestone in the history of the Juventus Women’s First Team and in Cristiana Girelli's career: with her appearance in the match against Sassuolo, the Bianconere number 10 officially became the player with the most appearances ever in a Juventus shirt.

With 238 appearances, Girelli now occupies sole possession of first place in this special ranking, surpassing Arianna Caruso, whom she tied with just a few days ago in the Italian Cup match against Napoli Women (in which she found the back of the net moments after coming on as a substitute).

This record is a testament to Cristiana's central role in the Bianconere project since 2018, the year she arrived in Turin, and her ability to be a constant reference point in every season, taking on different roles from time to time, but without ever losing her importance.

In addition to the appearance record, a special goal was obviously needed to celebrate such an important day: thanks to her goal against the Neroverdi, Girelli has now also reached the 150 goal-mark for Juventus.

This reaffirms her extraordinary scoring impact and further cements her status as the top scorer in our club's history on a day to remember.
