Just one Juventus Men’s First Team player was involved in international matches on Friday 14 November: Vasilije Adzic with Montenegro in their away match against Gibraltar.
The number 10 of Mirko Vucinic's team was one of the key parts of Montenegro’s comeback, as they were behind early on against Gibraltar.
Adzic scored the equaliser in the 33rd minute with a free kick from the edge of the penalty area, a razor-sharp shot that nestled in the far corner. Montenegro would go on to win the match 2-1.
Coming off a series of defeats in their recent Group L matches in 2026 World Cup Qualifying, the Balkan team returned to winning ways, climbing to nine points in the group with three wins and four defeats.
Now out of the running for qualification for the World Cup in the United States, Adzic and his teammates will face Croatia in their final group match on Monday, 17 November at 20:45 CET.
