Mental health is an integral part of every person’s wellbeing, and the connections we build can make all the difference. Feeling seen, heard and part of a community helps to combat loneliness and social isolation.

Juventus has long been committed to mental health and is renewing that commitment this year by focusing on the strength of the community, the value of listening and the importance of relationships.

To mark World Mental Health Day, Juventus Mental Health Week has been launched. It is a series of events dedicated to mental wellbeing, aimed at raising awareness of how to tackle social isolation.

“Caring is an act of strength” is the message behind the initiative: looking after oneself and others, paying attention and forging genuine connections are acts of strength, capable of contributing to both individual and collective wellbeing.

It’s a journey that, over the years, has found expression in the ‘Stories of Strength’ project, launched in 2023 and which has grown season after season through podcasts, personal accounts, in-house programmes and, more recently, the documentary produced in collaboration with Progetto Happiness. It’s a narrative designed to give a voice to authentic stories of vulnerability, resilience and growth, transforming the act of sharing into a gesture of strength and helping to break down the stigma that still surrounds these issues today.

Taking up the message conveyed by the documentary’s three protagonists, Hani, Johan and Pietro, Mental Health Week combines these personal accounts with practical tools for self-care and for tackling the challenges of everyday life. The project is organised with the support of the Club’s Psychology Department and Kyan Health, the app for mental and physical wellbeing which, since last season, has been supporting Juventus staff and fans through self-care tools, content developed by experts and personalised support programmes.

To mark the initiative, fans will also be able to download the Kyan Health app and enjoy a free subscription until 30 June 2027, the end of the current football season, with access to self-care resources and tools. It’s a way of bringing mental health into the spotlight in everyday life, even beyond the dedicated week itself.

A landing page on the Juventus website, going live on 14 October, will take the Bianconeri community on an in-depth journey through three videos:

What if no one had to feel alone?

Building community to counter loneliness and social isolation

How can we help ensure that no one feels alone? The first session will explore the value of human connections and a sense of belonging, showing how relationships and everyday gestures can help us recognise others’ difficulties and build a more caring and inclusive community.

The talk will feature Gianluca Pessotto, a long-standing figure at the Club – first as a player and now as Football Teams Staff Coordination Manager – and Professor Giuseppe Vercelli, a sports psychologist in charge of Juventus’s Psychology Department, interviewed by a psychologist from Kyan Health.

Is it really ‘just’ stress?

Recognising the signs and preventing burnout

Stress, pressure and tiredness are part of many people’s daily lives. But how can we tell when we’re asking too much of ourselves and rest is no longer enough?

A psychotherapist from Kyan Health will help you distinguish between normal tiredness, stress and the signs of burnout. This episode will offer practical tools for recognising the warning signs, ensuring you have time to recover, setting boundaries and seeking support before you reach your limit.

Who should I call?

Finding the right mental health support

When something isn’t right, who can we turn to?

Psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, coaches, health services and helplines: navigating the various professionals and support pathways isn’t always easy. This event will offer a practical guide to understanding their roles and identifying the support best suited to your needs, making the first step towards asking for help clearer and more accessible.

An invitation to pause, listen to ourselves and look after one another: this is the spirit of Mental Health Week 2026, an initiative that puts people and the value of sharing at the centre. Through this message, Juventus invites its entire community to remember that looking after oneself and others is, first and foremost, an act of strength.
