It is Juventus Women-Benfica once again.
The Bianconere begin their UEFA Women’s Champions League League Phase campaign against the Portuguese side at the Allianz Stadium, facing an opponent they already met in the 2025/26 edition of the competition.
Last season’s meeting is also the only previous UEFA Women’s Champions League encounter between Juventus and Benfica. On that occasion, the Bianconere claimed a 2-1 victory, with Cecilia Salvai scoring both goals.

That result forms part of an impressive opening-match record for Juventus Women, who have won their first game in each of their last four UEFA Women’s Champions League campaigns, including last season’s home victory over Benfica.
The match at the Allianz Stadium also offers Juventus the opportunity to reverse their recent European run. The Bianconere have recorded one draw and two defeats in their last three UEFA Women’s Champions League matches – excluding qualifiers – having lost only two of their previous seven, a run which also included four wins and one draw.
Benfica, meanwhile, arrive in Turin looking to end a long wait for a European victory. The Portuguese side are winless in their last 11 UEFA Women’s Champions League matches, recording five draws and six defeats. Their most recent victory in the competition came with a 1-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2023/24 group stage.
A new European campaign is ready to begin. And once again, Benfica stand in Juventus Women’s path.
