Tatiana Pinto is officially a new Juventus Women player. The midfielder becomes the first-ever Portuguese to join our Women's First Team, signing until 2027.

Upon her arrival in Turin, Tatiana shared her delight with us.

"It’s incredible. This was really unexpected for me, but as soon as Juventus approached me I was really happy to come here," Pinto said, beginning her first interview as a Bianconera. "I’m a very ambitious player and to come to Juventus and be the first Portuguese player, I think I’m changing some mindsets and mentalities in Portugal and I want to help raise the value of Portuguese players around the world. I’m really happy.”

AMBITIONS AND OBJECTIVES

“I have a hunger to win. I think Juventus is the perfect club for someone who wants to win titles, be at the highest level, and to compete in every competition. I think it’s a perfect match.”

TATIANA THE PLAYER

“I’m a team player. If the team needs me to play at right-back or left-back, I don’t care. I’m here to give my best, and to serve the team and the club. At the end of the day I want to win and to help the team as much as I can. I’m an aggressive player, I really like to get into the box, to help the defence, to do the ‘dirty’ box-to-box work. I like getting forward and trying to score, and being aggressive. I’ll always push for more, and if we score one I’ll always be looking for a second.”

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

"I want to share my experience on and off the pitch. I’m sure my teammates can teach me a lot too, because in football and in life generally you always have to learn - the day you stop learning, you’re dead. I think I can teach them something, and they can give me a lot in return. It’s a win-win relationship. I can’t wait to get to know the girls, to experience the Italian culture, and to bring my mindset, discipline and professionalism to everybody here.”
