The Giovanissimi have emerged from this afternoon’s away trip to Bra with an emphatic 6-0 win.
It may have been the clash between first and last in the league table, but manager Claudio Gabetta will still no doubt be deeply impressed with a win of that size.
Gabriele Galtarossa netted the opener and Gianmarco Scapin also got his name on the scoresheet before the half-time whistle blew. After the break it was Simone Mancini, a Federico Mastropietro double and a final Andrea Nota strike that capped the win.
The league championship takes a break next week, so the Giovanissimi’s next challenge will be on Sunday 23 February against Sampdoria.
