The Allievi have lifted the Beppe Viola trophy for the first time since 2007 this afternoon with a triumphant 5-1 victory over Chievo Verona in the final of Italy’s most prestigious competition for their age group.
Ivano Della Morte’s side started as they meant to go on in Arco, finding an opener with only five minutes gone thanks to Alessio Sallustio, who then went on to double the Bianconeri’s lead just seven minutes later.
Next it was Stefano Pellini who got his name on the scoresheet, before the Gialloblu reduced the deficit from the spot.
But from there Juve only got stronger as Luca Clemenza and Mattia Vitale rounded off an excellent win, the club’s sixth in the final of the competition since it was first launched in 1972.
Congratulations to the players, manager and coaching staff from all associated with Juventus Football Club!
