After a confident 2-0 home victory over Genoa yesterday, the Bianconeri took to the training pitch straight away again this morning with the aim of achieving a similarly positive result in their fast-approaching next fixture: Catania’s visit to Juventus Stadium on Wednesday 30 October.
As is tradition the day after a match, those involved in yesterday’s game underwent a warm-down session in Vinovo, while the rest of the group carried out a normal workout.
Juve’s Sicilian opposition are just one place above the Serie A relegation zone, and so any points snatched at the home of the champions of Italy on Wednesday would be a real boost.
Antonio Conte’s men, meanwhile, will be looking to avoid the nail-biting ride they endured last time they faced Catania on home turf on 10 March 2013; a game in which the deadlock was broken in the very last minute by an Emanuele Giaccherini goal that was a crucial step towards Scudetto victory.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 29 October, will see the Bianconeri back in training in the afternoon.
