Martin Caceres has praised his team-mates for their resolute display in this evening’s 1-0 Derby della Mole triumph over rivals Torino.
The defender, who passed the test of keeping the shackles on Granata dangerman Alessio Cerci with flying colours, was also quick to attribute the victory to Antonio Conte, whose meticulous preparations ensured it was a quiet night for one of the division’s most lethal strikeforces.
Speaking at Juventus Stadium after the final whistle, the 26-year-old said: “Hats off to the team. It’s not easy playing every three days, but what matters is being ready when the call comes.
“Cerci and Immobile are quality players, but the manager’s tactical preparations were spot on. He relayed the message to us a couple of times before the game: cold minds, warm hearts.”
