Martin Caceres says the Bianconeri earned another important win with this evening’s 2-0 triumph over Udinese at the Stadio Friuli – but claims it’s still too early for this season’s Scudetto race to be regarded as a closed chapter.
The defender is enjoying a fine run of form as part of the league’s second most stubborn defence and believes Antonio Conte’s rotation policy to be the correct way of handling an energy sapping final sprint.
Speaking in Udine, Caceres said: “There are still five games remaining, we’re getting closer but still haven’t won anything. It’s right for us to rotate at this current time. Today Giovinco and Ogbonna got the call and both put in great performances. We haven’t got 11 fixed starters, everyone is required.”
