Just one week away from their first match of the 2013/14 Primavera season against Spezia at Chisola, Juve’s youngsters will have one last opportunity to make sure they arrive at that game in the best possible form when they take part in the Memorial Mamma Cairo trophy this weekend.
Andrea Zanchetta’s youngsters will be pitted against an elite group of other Primavera teams - Torino, Milan and Inter - in the inaugural edition of the competition, which is taking place on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 August in Alessandria and Quattordio.
The tournament is dedicated to Maria Giulia, mother of the President of Turin, and will have a quadrangular format.
The Bianconeri’s first opponent will be Inter on the Saturday at 8.45pm (CET) at Stadio Giuseppe Moccagatta, site of Juventus’ home games in the NextGeneration Series last year, while Torino face Milan at the same time over in Quattordio. The Sunday will see the two finals, both in Moccagatta.
