Juventus Museum is today celebrating reaching a landmark figure of 300,000 visitors, less than two years after first opening its doors to the general public on 16 May 2012.
Over 150,000 people a year and 13,000 a month have taken the interactive tour of the club’s history, and this number looks set to increase at a steady rate with the upcoming Easter bank holidays.
To reflect this, extended hours are in operation during the summer months. From Wednesday 2 April until Tuesday 30 September, visitors will be welcomed between 10.30 and 19.00 (Mondays to Fridays, closed on Tuesdays), and doors will remain open for half an hour longer on Saturdays and Sundays.
Given that 70 per cent of visitors choose to combine their J-Museum visit with a journey of discovery through Juventus Stadium, an extra weekly tour has been added to the Monday to Friday schedule. These depart at 11.00, 12.30, 14.45, 16.20 and 17.00.
This number increases to 11 on Saturdays and Sundays, when tours are scheduled to run from 11.00, 11.30, 12.00, 12.30, 15.00, 15.30, 16.00, 16.20, 17.00, 17.30 and 18.00.
