Juventus continue to stay ahead of the chasing pack when it comes to social networking in Italy, registering impressive figures which have recently been released by BlogMeter, an independent social media intelligence company.
The club’s official Twitter account saw in the new year with a stunning treble: over 186,000 interactions (retweets, replies, mentions and favourites), the greatest number of new followers (48,000) and the most engaging tweet of the month (Marchisio’s birthday, almost 3,000 interactions).

Elsewhere, aside from the 10 million likes reached on Facebook, celebrated by Carlos Tevez’s wonder strike in Vinovo, the official page also generated the country’s most engaging post of January: the jubilant post-match comment in response to the team’s 3-0 win over Roma at Juventus Stadium.
These stats are a further testament of the ever-strengthening bond between Juventus and its fan base on social networks. And with the club topping the cyberspace charts since October, the supporters, through their comments and interactions, will be determined to keep the black and white flag flying high for the foreseeable future.
