Fernando Llorente has today put the finishing touches on a permanent switch to Juventus Football Club.
After touching down in Turin following a relaxing weekend in Sardinia, the Spanish frontman was treated to a warm reception by Juventus supporters awaiting his arrival at Caselle airport.
Having greeted his adoring public for the first time, Llorente was then whisked off to the Trussardi store on Via Lagrange to be measured up for his official club suit to be worn during tomorrow’s official unveiling at Juventus Stadium.
Next stop for the 28-year-old, who agreed a four-year contract with Juventus in January, was the club’s city centre headquarters, where he was handed the number 14 shirt by Andrea Agnelli ahead of his medical examinations.
The first of these took place at the Istituto di Medicina dello Sport center, where Bianconeri duo Andrea Barzagli and Andrea Pirlo were on hand to welcome their new team-mate following their return from Confederations Cup duties in Brazil.
Tomorrow will see Llorente address the media for the first time as a Juventus player. His press conference is scheduled to begin at 4pm (CET).
The Bianconeri’s international fan base will be able to follow all the action through a live streaming service, featuring a real time English translation, broadcast on Juventus.com and the club’s official YouTube channel.
