Giuseppe Marotta says Juventus will approach each of their Champions League games with a positive mindset but believes they must remain fully alert to the potential dangers that lurk in a testing Group B.
Reacting to his evening’s draw, the Bianconeri CEO began: “We’ll face everyone on a level playing field, even though we’ll probably be vying with Galatasaray to make it out of the group stages. The clash with Real Madrid will depend a great deal on the fixture list. We’ve got a favourable history against them, but the arrival of Ancelotti will certainly make things more complicated for us.
“Galatasaray are an excellent side, they joined us in last year’s quarter-finals and have just won the Turkish Super Cup. We’ll be up against a wizard in Terim and players like Felipe Melo, Sneijder and Muslera in a red-hot atmosphere. We knew it would be evenly-poised and that potential dangers lay in every group. We’ll do our very best.”
