Juventus launched their preparations for this weekend’s clash against Napoli at the San Paolo with a morning session at the club’s training complex in Vinovo.
Having enjoyed a day off in the wake of Wednesday’s 2-1 triumph over Parma, Antonio Conte’s men reassembled at a sunny Juventus Center to work towards an important meeting with Champions League chasing Napoli.
Twenty points may separate the teams in the league, but Rafael Benitez’s troops will be determined to follow up a 4-2 midweek victory against Catania by gaining revenge for the Bianconeri’s 3-0 win when the sides last met back in November.
Tactics were immediately at the forefront of Conte’s mind and, with the suspended Carlos Tevez a confirmed absence for the trip to Campania, he will be placing particular emphasis on evaluating the best attacking combination to combat the league’s third strongest defence on home turf.
These preparations will shift up a gear when the Bianconeri conduct their final training session early tomorrow afternoon ahead of their departure for Naples.
