Angelo Ogbonna believes the future is bright after starring in this evening’s 2-0 win over Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
The composed centre-back, who made a switch from inter-city rivals Torino in the summer, confessed to taking a while to adapt to his new environment, but is now beginning to stake his claim for a regular starting berth following a string of assured displays.
Speaking to reporters in Emilia-Romagna, the 25-year-old said: “I feel a lot more comfortable now, I just needed to get accustomed to the heavy workload. Training here is different to the methods I’ve previously been used to and I must say that Juventus is the only Italian team that works to such intensity. Playing a bit more regularly also allows me to shine. The World Cup? It would be a dream for me to go to Brazil.”
