Dani Osvaldo hailed the response of his team-mates immediately after pouncing to down his former employers Roma with a last-gasp winner at the Stadio Olimpico.
The 28-year-old, who joined on loan from English Premiership side Southampton in the January transfer window, netted his third goal in the black and white stripes after coming on off the bench in the capital, and subsequently expressed his delight at the togetherness shown by the squad.
Speaking to the media after the full-time whistle in Rome, Osvaldo said: “The best thing was the hug from my team-mates, they were almost happier than I was! That's what pleases me the most.
“A goal against my former employers? I respect my old team-mates, and have many friends still in Rome, but now I’m at Juventus and I’d like to stay here, just as I’d like to go to the World Cup.”
