Now that the international break is over, the Primavera are set for a late-September run full of crucial fixtures, starting tomorrow at home against Empoli.
Andrea Zanchetta’s side’s 13.30 CET encounter with the Tuscans at Chisola will be live on Sport Italia, and viewers can look forward to watching an almost full-strength team in action seeing as only Filippo Penna is a guaranteed absentee through injury.
After that, Juve will look towards a new challenge: their debut in the Youth League, the European competition for Under 19 sides.
Just like the first team, the Bianconeri youngsters await a meeting with FC Copenhagen, with the match to be played on Tuesday 17 September at 15.00 CET.
But after these two fixtures there is an arguably even more momentous one just around the corner. On Saturday 21 September, Juve face Torino in the derby, with another big clash on the agenda for Thursday 26 to follow: Lazio in the Italian Super Cup at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico.
To round off a busy month the Primavera will play Genoa in the league championship as they continue their attempt to improve on their last-eight finish last year.
