The Bianconeri’s preparations for the upcoming 2013/14 campaign are officially underway.
After enjoying a well deserved break over the summer months, Antonio Conte’s men reassembled in Turin this afternoon as attentions begin to turn to another important season ahead.
Not all of the Juventus squad are currently present in the city: the eight Italians and Uruguayan Martin Cáceres who all participated in Brazil’s Confederations Cup, as well Paul Pogba – hoping to lead France to a place in the Under 20 World Cup final in Turkey tomorrow night – are yet to join up with the rest of their team-mates.
Today saw the players visit Turin’s Istituto di Medicina dello Sport to undergo routine medical checks.
Two days of training in Vinovo now await the squad, before they depart to Val D’Aosta for one of the fans’ most highly anticipated events of the year: the summer training camp.
The Italian champions will train in Châtillon/ Saint Vincent from Friday 12 to Monday 22 July.
