The image of goal machine Gianluca Vialli wheeling away in celebration after finding the target is one that remains embedded in the minds of those who followed the Bianconeri in the early 90s.
Less familiar, though, is the image of Vialli away from the football field. Still living in London following his playing days with Chelsea, he maintains his association with the beautiful game in his role as a weekend pundit for Sky Italia. But what does he get up to when he isn’t analysing Serie A strikeforces?
There is plenty to keep the father of two amused in and around his adopted city - “the home of sport” - including a new-found passion for golf, museum visits and charity work with Sky colleague Massimo Mauro.
But Juventus is never too far away from his mind, and in a revealing interview with HJ Magazine, he speaks glowingly about the work of former team-mate Antonio Conte.
“As the former Juve captain and on behalf of all our team-mates from that time, I can say that I'm proud of what he's achieved. It makes me feel somehow involved to see my former vice-captain leading his team so well. Hats off to him.”
Vialli’s interview is one of many exciting features contained within the latest interactive edition of HJ Magazine, which includes over 100 pages of excusive audio, video and photo content to be browsed at your convenience on tablets and smartphones.
