The memories of two Bianconeri academy players, Alessandro Ferramosca and Riccardo Neri, who tragically passed away on 15 December 2006, will be honoured in the eighth edition of a tournament to be played at Juventus Center this weekend.
In keeping with the traditional format, eight Giovanissimi sides, split into two groups, will compete in the competition. Representing the professional teams are Juventus, Genoa, Empoli and Torino, while amateur sides Chisola, Castelfiorentino, Lucento and JStars complete the line-up.
The Bianconeri, represented by Claudio Gabetta’s outfit, will see in the tournament with Saturday’s games against Empoli and Genoa, with the inter-city derby against Torino to conclude the group phase on Sunday morning.
The winners of each group will then progress through to Sunday’s final at 17.30 CET, an encounter to be preceded by the third-place playoff at 16.00.
