After completing their return from Florence in the early hours of the morning, Juventus were back at their Vinovo training base before lunchtime to commence their preparations for Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Atletico.
While a draw would be enough to take Massimiliano Allegri’s men through to the competition’s knockout stages, all the noises from players and staff point to their desire to snatch top spot from the reigning champions of Spain.
With this in mind, the players worked with plenty of intensity and purpose in their bid to approach the crunch game in optimal condition. Those involved in last night’s goalless stalemate with Fiorentina underwent a warm-down in the gym, while the remainder of the group conducted a mixed workout on the Vinovo training pitches.
Tomorrow morning will see the Bianconeri return to their preparations, with tactics expected to come to the fore during their penultimate session for Atletico.
