Alvaro Morata was on the score sheet yet again today, his name sandwiched between goals by l'Apache, as Juve's strike pairing proved once again what a great understanding they have.

Carlos Tevez is more than just a team-mate for Alvaro, though. Speaking after the final whistle, the Spanish frontman revealed: "Having the chance to play alongside Carlos is a dream come true for me. I used to watch him on TV when I was a kid and now he's setting me up to score in matches like this."

Perhaps the Spaniard's huge improvement in recent months is partly down to playing with the Argentine. "Yes, I have come on a lot, and I've improved the mental side of my game especially. It's all down to constant hard work."

While it may be the front two banging them in, our No.9 is is fully aware that it's a team effort. "We've got a great group of players here, it's not just about Carlos and myself. Juve were amazing tonight. Now we have to go on like this.

"It was a tough match but we got our approach spot on. We all chipped in and defended when we had to defend, then went on the attack when it was the right time to strike. If we keep playing like this, we'll be a handful for anyone."

And on the subject of opponents, the draw for the quarter-finals is coming up on Friday. Asked for his take on it, Morata said: "There are no easy teams in the hat. There are just eight sides left and they're the best around. But as I said, if we play like that we needn't fear anyone."
