Pavel Nedved says he is looking forward to seeing Juventus pit their wits against reigning champions of Europe Real Madrid in this year’s Champions League semi-finals
The former midfielder and current club director scored a decisive goal when the teams last met at this stage of the competition 12 years ago, and believes the Bianconeri have what it takes to emulate that result by reaching the final in Berlin.
Speaking to the media in Nyon, Nedved said: “We deserve to be here in the semi-finals and it will be great, for us and all the fans, to go up against the holders Real, one of the best teams in the world.
"We’re in no way the favourites, and would be crazy to think so, but we want to give it a good go and have the players to do just that.”
