There is only one true way of celebrating an important victory such as last night’s over Champions League rivals Roma for a fifth consecutive time on home turf and that is to set about preparing for the next.
With big fixtures arriving thick and fast, Massimiliano Allegri’s men would spend little time basking in Sunday’s win in Vinovo this morning, quickly turning attentions instead to Wednesday’s Coppa Italia semi-final against Inter at Juventus Stadium for the first of three encounters with the Nerrazzuri in the space of two months.
As is the norm for a post-match training session, the Bianconeri were split into two groups, with the starting XI and substitutes that featured against Roma stretching off yesterday’s exertions and the remainder of the squad topping up their match fitness in the gym.
The champions will swap trainers for football boots tomorrow afternoon as they step up their preparations for Inter in earnest out on the Juventus Center pitches. Juve coach Allegri meanwhile is scheduled to meet the media beforehand at 12.00 CET for his pre-match press conference.
As ever, fans will be able to follow the boss' words in real time on the club's official English language Twitter feed @juventusfcen.
