It is rare that Juventus can enjoy the luxury of a full week to rest up, refocus and prepare for a league fixture, with Sunday's encounter with Udinese still four days away.
With their Coppa Italia midweek quarter-final meeting with Lazio coming up next Wednesday and February's Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich still a distant mark on the horizon, Massimiliano Allegri took full advantage of the bonus time, putting his men through their paces in a predominately fitness-based workout.
Split into groups, the champions knuckled down to power through an intensive and physical workout, their second of the week since returning to training yesterday.
Having focused intensively on the physical side of the game after Christmas, Allegri will no doubt be keen to see the fruits of his side's fitness work that has already contributed to an impressive nine goals in the last 15 minutes of games this term, as the season begins to reach its climax in the next few months.
Juve will take to the Juventus Center pitches once again at the same time tomorrow morning as preparations for their trip to the Nuovo Stadio Friuli continue to pick up pace.
